Prague New City Tour

Join us for our Prague New City Tour and Discover with us the primitive origins of Prague. Vysehrad, the first part of this tour immerses us in the field of Slavic legends and the rise and fall of Premysl, the dynasty over which the Kingdom of Bohemia is constructed. This “castle on the heights” is one of the treasures of Prague.

Next, we continue our way through the New Town, which now houses many of the most notable buildings and monuments Prague. These buildings allow us to reconstruct the fascinating history of this country over the last two centuries, discuss the birth of Czechoslovakia, the advent of Nazism, the communist dictatorship, and much more.

Discover Wenceslas Square (which was built in the 14th century and laid out as a horse market) which lies at the heart of the New Town and is a vibrant area of hotels, shopping, commerce, restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife.

Other large, notable squares we will visit in the New Town are Charles Square and Republic Square. We will explore the Prague National Theater which is known as the national monument of Czech history and art and first opened in 1881. You will learn the story behind the Prague Dancing House, a highly original building resembling and also inspired by two dancers – the immortally famous duo of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
