We learn that businessman and Nazi party member Oskar Schindler first took advantage of the opportunism offered by the war and the slave labor of the Jews in Krakow when he founded his factory.<\/p>\n<p>Then we march on the same gravel and view the same electric gates and fences of Plasz\u00f3w Concentration Camp that he did when he observed the Nazi cruelty, a cruelty that knew no bounds as masses of Jews were murdered. Seeing so much suffering, Schindler decided to enlist 1,200 Jews as essential employees for the sole purpose of saving their lives from being transported to the Auschwitz concentration camp.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSchindler Factory\u201d that became a safe haven for endangered Jews is now an iconic museum. We visit it on this tour as we honor the lives saved from Nazi terror by Oskar Schindler.
