This beautiful and atmospheric neighborhood is the birthplace of 19th century Impressionism and the Bohemian center of Paris. Montmartre is home to The Champs-Elysees – the most prestigious avenue in Paris. L’Arc de Triomph stands at the western end of the Champs-Elysees, at the star shaped intersection of twelve major avenues which is called Place d’Etoil. The Arch is a monument to all who fought for France, especially during the Napoleonic wars.

On this Montmartre tour we will also vist the vineyards of Montmartre. “The Secret Vineyard” is tucked away on top of Montmartre hill, in the shadow of Sacré-Coeur.

We avoid the obvious and cliché, opting to examine the essence of Montmartre through its most famous residents: Monet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Dalí, and Picasso. Onward, we travel down cobblestone lanes and visit the country mills the daring converted into cabarets, such as the iconic Moulin Rouge.
