On this tour, we will explore a true maze of history and legends, bordered to the south by the Murillo Gardens and protected by the 12th-century Moorish city walls, which still seem to embrace visitors today.

We will stroll along evocative streets such as Calle Agua and Calle Vida, connected by the iconic Patio de Banderas, while uncovering the secrets hidden within its squares, courtyards, and narrow alleyways. We will learn about the history of the neighborhood’s three former synagogues and their transformation over the centuries, today represented by the Church of Santa María la Blanca, the Church of San Bartolomé, and Santa Cruz Square, immersing ourselves in a Seville that seems to have stood still in time.

This neighborhood has not only witnessed centuries of history, but has also been a source of inspiration for great literary figures such as Luis Cernuda and Washington Irving, and has been immortalized in works such as The Barber of Seville.
