Of course, there are varieties of tapas—flavors change from place to place and from bar to bar. The setting varies, too. Sometimes one will sit for tapas and other times one will stand. (Rest assured, the ambience is as much a part of the experience as the meal itself.) But in the end, the best tapas is the one surrounded by good company. And to enjoy the best tapas experience is the singular goal of the White Umbrella Tapas Tour.

We are tourists, indeed, but we will be sitting (and standing!) next to local Sevillians all the while. This is where they eat and drink and we know why. So let us show you.

For obvious reasons, we have enjoyed curating this tour perhaps more than any other, and relish every opportunity to pass along this expertise. We make three stops at our favorite locales and all of the food and drinks are included. The menu typically includes ‘’Sirloin with Whiskey,’’ “La Pringá,’’and “La Carillá”, “Espinacas con garbanos” (spinach with chickpeas)… And we drink! Here comes the “the rebujito” and refreshingly cool beer.

And because we visit only the most authentic of tapas bars in Seville, prepare to find yourself surrounded by traditional Sevillian atmosphere, to stand (or sit!) among the bullfighters and other curiosities. (The waiters keep tabs on the bar with chalk—they really do.)
